The following conceptual model makes sense, where learners can develop knowledge from both formal and informal (not simply being spoon-fed), body of knowledge can be made from intelligent data/system through aggregation etc, and this would qualify the learners to a degree/qualification:
The question is..., are the learners ready to go for this?
